The Recruiting Accelerator – Spring 2026
This 6-Week College Swimming Recruiting Cohort is a focused, small-group coaching experience designed to help swimmers & divers navigate the college recruiting process with clarity, structure, and confidence.
Over 6 weeks, athletes learn how college recruiting works, how to evaluate programs to find the right competitive and academic fit, and how to communicate with college coaches professionally and effectively.
Athletes leave the program with a clear understanding of collegiate competition levels, scholarship realities, and the factors that shape recruiting decisions.
This is not a webinar series.
It’s live, interactive coaching in a small cohort environment designed for swimmers who are serious about competing at the next level.

Program Begins in May!
-
This program is best for motivated sophomore swimmers who plan to compete in college and want clarity before the June 15 contact window.
It is ideal for athletes who are ready to take ownership of their recruiting process and want expert guidance, accountability, and structure.
-
You can.
Many athletes do.
The difference is structure and timing.
The Recruiting Accelerator Cohort is designed to eliminate confusion, prevent common mistakes, and ensure you are prepared when communication opens on June 15. Instead of guessing what to do next, you follow a clear plan with expert guidance and live feedback.
-
You do not need to be one of the fastest swimmers in the country to go through the recruiting process successfully.
College swimming exists across many divisions and levels, and athletes find opportunities at programs that fit their performance, academics, and goals.
The purpose of this cohort is not to promise offers. It’s to help athletes understand where they realistically fit, how the recruiting process works, and how to communicate with coaches professionally.
This program provides the structure and guidance for all athletes to approach the process strategically.
-
Waiting is often what creates unnecessary stress.
Recruiting rewards preparation. Athletes who understand the process before communication opens are more confident, more organized, and more effective in their outreach.
This program is designed specifically for the preparation window before coaches can respond.
-
The Cohort provides structured group coaching, live Q&A, and proven frameworks to help you prepare and execute your recruiting plan.
Private coaching through the Podium Plan is more comprehensive and hands-on. It includes personalized school list development, direct communication strategy support, expanded planning, and ongoing access throughout the recruiting process.
The cohort builds the foundation.
Private coaching provides full-service execution tailored to each athlete’s individual goals. -
Yes. Each session includes dedicated Q&A time, and athletes will have opportunities to ask questions and receive feedback.
Athletes have the option of adding on 1-on-1 coaching for help with personalized school lists and more individualized support.
-
Recruiting outcomes depend on many factors — performance, fit, timing, and communication.
This program is designed for clarity, preparation, and a structured action plan. Athletes leave knowing exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to communicate professionally with coaches.
Those who take action consistently see the greatest benefit. One Lap Ahead does not guarantee offers, but equips athletes with the tools to be successful.
-
The cohort teaches athletes how to evaluate programs and develop smart criteria for fit.
Fully personalized school list development and hands-on recruiting management are available separately through private coaching.
-
Recordings are available for every session.
-
Sessions are designed for the athletes so they can ask questions, participate in discussions, and take ownership of their recruiting process.
All sessions are recorded, so athletes can review the material or catch up if they have a conflict with a live call.
Parents are welcome to watch the recordings afterward to stay informed and support their athlete throughout the process.
